Cabling Solutions
Today's applications require complex and robust networks. DMH partners with businesses to assess and plan the most effective and efficient infrastructure. We are experts at providing structured cabling systems that provide a comprehensive telecommunications infrastructure able to serve a wide range of uses.
Copper Cabling - Voice & Data
Twisted pair copper cabling is used for both voice and data applications. The specific applications will dictate which performance category of cable DMH will recommend for your project. Currently, we deploy the following twisted pair cable:
Category Application Data Rate
Category 3 Voice; Hardware specified up to 16 MHz 10 Mb/s
Category 5e Voice & Data; Hardware specified up to 100 MHz 1,000 Mb/s
Category 6 Data; Hardware specified up to 250 MHz 1,000 Mb/s
Category 6a Data; Hardware specified up to 500 MHz 10,000Mb/s

Fiber Optic Cabling
Optical fibers are ultra-pure glass strands that provide the pathway for the transmission of light pulses in fiber cable optic. When DMH implements fiber systems, our clients benefit from the many advantages that fiber offers. Such benefits include: increased bandwidth, transmission over long distances, cost effectiveness and security.
Multimode fiber optic cable is the most requested choice for backbone and horizontal distribution within buildings. However, we can also provide singlemode fiber for very long distances.
Coax Cabling
Coax is still the preferred medium for television, satellite, and surveillance installations. DMH has the expertise to run and terminate the right coax for any application.
